I’m happy to finally present the result of countless hours of work: The complete suite of the Thinkbox 3ds Max plugins!
Built for 3ds Max 2018 up to 3ds Max 2026 and ready to be downloaded
These builds are based on the source code published by AWS Thinkbox on GitHub. Getting them to work was no small task, it required carefully dissecting and replicating the intricate Conan-based build pipeline to run locally. And that was just the beginning. Once the pipeline was in place, I had to track down and apply numerous compatibility fixes to ensure the plugins would compile and run correctly with the latest 3ds Max SDKs. It’s been a long and tedious process, but I’m happy to say the packages are ready to be released !
Installation:
After downloading the zip file, simply extract and copy the corresponding 3ds Max version’s folder to your preferred ApplicationPlugins location. All builds for the available 3ds Max versions come within a single zip file. Please don’t share the downloaded files, but forward this page to anyone interested instead.
Updates:
As the builds are not seriously tested, errors and bugs may occur. Updates and fixes might be released silently at any time. Be sure to check the version string listed on each download from time to time.
